Home Statistics - Bryant Heating & Cooling Systems

Most log homeowners are research hounds; they want the best for their labor of love! And when it comes to home heating and cooling, homeowners are looking for one multifunctional state-of-the-art system, like Bryant’s Evolution® System. Indeed, the Evolution System is installed in this magnificent home.

Touting Energy Star® certified efficiency, the Evolution System manages all six comfort functions-temperature, humidity, air flow, ventilation, indoor air quality (IAQ) and zoning-via one easy-to-navigate single control. Homeowners can manage up to eight different zone settings and enjoy longer heating and cooling cycles at lower fan speeds, which translates into energy savings and more consistent temperatures throughout the home.

The Evolution System includes:
  • The Evolution Control-More than a programmable thermostat this advanced, multi-function interface combines six controls in one, placing homeowners in complete "comfort control."It features a large, easy-to-read display that provides on-screen prompts to help guide users through programming and operation.
  • The Plus 90i®Variable-Speed Furnace with Perfect Heat®/Perfect Humidity®, Model 355 AAV—The Plus 90i™ keeps the home warm and comfortable with up to 96.6 percent AFUE (Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency). That's over 30 percent more efficient than typical older furnaces.
  • The Two-Speed Puron® Plus Air Conditioner with Puron® Refrigerant, Model 598B -The Two-Speed Puron® Plus operates on low speed up to 80 percent of the time. Low-speed operation allows the system to circulate cool air throughout the home for longer periods of time, creating even, consistent temperatures in every room. The unit features a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) of 16.5 that uses non-ozone-depleting Puron® refrigerant.
  • Other HVAC components in the home include:
  • Plus Series Highly Efficient Gas Water Boiler, Model BW9-Ideal for new construction and replacement installations, the Plus Series boiler is designed to heat the home quickly and economically. The cast aluminum heat exchanger transfers heat three times faster than conventional cast iron, allowing for faster heat-up and greater thermal storage. For the homeowner, this translates into comfortable heating at a lower operating cost.
  • Bryant High Efficiency Media Air Cleaner, Model FILCAB-This mechanical air cleaner not only cleans the air in the home by reducing the effects of airborne pollutants, it also helps protect home furnishings and helps maintain the efficiency of the home comfort system.
  • Ultraviolet Germicidal Light, Model UVLBB-Good quality air cleaners help trap airborne pollutants, but Bryant’s Ultraviolet Germicidal Light actually helps destroys them by penetrating down to the microbial DNA. Mounted near the indoor comfort system’s indoor coil, small lamps direct UV light to a potential spot of fungal and microbial growth. Then, once activated, the UV light goes to work killing fungus and microbes that might be growing on the indoor coil. As part of a complete system, the UV lights can improve indoor air quality.
  • Humidifier- Humidifiers add moisture to the air inside the home which can improve the quality of the air occupants breathe. By placing moisture back into the air, these devices can allow consumers to remain comfortable at a lower heating temperature for lower energy use and greater operating efficiency.
